The Gibraltar volleyball team will try to slow down Southern Door on Tuesday when the two teams play each other in Fish Creek.

The Vikings dropped their two matches last week to Sturgeon Bay and Algoma by identical 3-1 scores as the team looks for the first Packerland victory of the season.

It took the maximum, but the Southern Door volleyball team was able to leave the court on Thursday with a 3-2 victory (25-23, 19-25; 25-20; 18-25; 15-12) over Kewaunee. The see-saw battle was led offensively by Isabella Price (11 kills; 8 aces) and Paige Olson (10 kills; 5 blocks; 4 aces) with Ashlyn Delfosse doing a great job distributing the ball with 28 assists. Sophia Counard showed leadership on the defensive side of the ball with 20 digs.

The opening serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
