The Gibraltar/Sevastopol registered a tally in the second half but no more than that as they fell to NEW Lutheran 2-1 in Fish Creek on Thursday night.

Monty Gungor and Caden Landes registered the goals for the Blazers to send them past the United. A later corner kick set up the Landes goal in the final minutes of the match after the United dominated possession for much of the second half. United's Tino Valdivia evened the score in the 63' for the team's lone tally.

Dylan Gustafson was peppered all night long for the Blazers, but the United were only unable to sneak one of their eight shots on target past him. 

Homecoming week for Gibraltar brings two conference matches: Monday, September 25 at home versus Algoma at 6:30pm, and Thursday, September 28 on the other side of the bay against Peshtigo (4:30pm).
