Gibraltar football faces road test at Suring on 105.1 The GOAT

The Gibraltar Vikings will travel around the bay on Thursday night for their first road game of the season against Suring.

Four total touchdowns by Braden Sitte sent the Vikings to the 27-14 victory over the visiting Montello Hilltoppers last Saturday. Three of those touchdowns came from the arm of Brady Kita, who threw for 156 yards on 17 completions. Sitte was responsible for most of that success, grabbing 11 balls for 123 yards with Will Lecy and Giovanni Mercier also catching passes. On defense, Marshall Maltby led the way with 13 tackles while combining with Mercier to force three fumbles.

The Eagles fell to its rival Gillett 46-12 in their first game of the season last Friday. The Eagles gave up over 520 yards on the evening while Seth Scrivens scored one of their two touchdowns when the game was well out of reach.

Tim Kowols will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m.
