The Gibraltar Vikings saw their regular season come to an end on Monday, losing to state-ranked Coleman 8-0.

The Cougars scored five runs within the first two innings against Bennett Isaacson before tacking on three more against Aaron Brey in the fifth inning. Tyler Renne led the way for the Cougars, going 2-4 with three RBI. Ray LeMieux III performed well at the plate and on the mound for the Cougars, knocking in two runs and keeping the Vikings under wraps with three scoreless innings while striking out four.

The Vikings had most of their success against pitcher Brady Dufeck, collecting four hits in his four innings of work. Carl Burgess, Hayden Reetz, Nathan Merkel, and Brady Kita all singled in the loss.
