The Gibraltar softball team hopes Friday is the day they get their first win in the Packerland Conference when Oconto plays their host.

The Kewaunee softball team needed less than four innings in either game to dismantle Gibraltar by scores of 22-1 and 16-0 on Tuesday afternoon. In game one, Pam Prescott drove in the only run on an RBI fielder's choice. Abby Jarosh and Megan Gallant collected the only hits on the day for the Vikings in the second game. The Vikings are still looking for their first win since 2021.

The Blue Devils did not fare much better in their Packerland doubleheader earlier this week as heard on U 102.1. The Southern Door Eagles rode big innings in both games of the doubleheader they played against the Oconto Blue Devils, winning the first game in 3 innings 16-1 and winning game two 19-9. 

First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
