Vikings boys sink Clippers

The return of Jake Schar was just part of the reason for Gibraltar's offensive outburst in their 69-54 victory over Sturgeon Bay Monday night.

The Vikings outscored the Clippers 31-17 in the first half behind Will Friedenfels' productive night in the paint. He scored 10 of his team-high 22 points in the opening frame, with Braden Sitte adding eight. The offense picked up even more steam in the second half, with Schar and Friedenfels each scoring 12 points. Schar finished the night with 17 points, and Sitte contributed 13 points in the win.

Garrett Ulberg led the Clippers with 21 points while Isaak Aune was able to scored 12 of his 13 points in the second half. The Evers brothers combined to score 13 points in the loss.
