Gibraltar's Will Friedenfels will continue his basketball career after high school after committing to St. Norbert College this week.

The Vikings' big man had to wait a little bit this season to get going after suffering a hand injury during the football season. He has since picked up where he left off last season, averaging just under nine points and nine rebounds per game. Friedenfels was selected as an All-Packerland Conference Honorable Mention performer after helping lead the Vikings to the state semifinal last season.

St. Norbert College is led by UW-Green Bay legend Gary Grzesk, who has coached the Green Knights to at least 15 wins in each of the last two seasons and led them to a Division III National Tournament appearance during the 2019-2020 season.
