Gibraltar's Jake Schar and Oneida Nation Ethan Danforth exchanged blows but it was the Vikings that emerged victorious from the Turtle School on Monday night, winning 60-59.

Schar found his stroke from behind the arc, leading the Vikings with 31 points in a game they led by just three points at the break. He was nearly matched by Manforth, who knocked down four threes in the game en route to a 24 point night. His 18 points in the second half nearly led the Thunderhawks to victory as they outscored the Vikings 35-33 in the second half.

Will Friedenfels chipped in nine points and Mateo Jauregui added eight points in the Vikings' victory.

The Vikings are back in action on Friday when they welcome NEW Lutheran to Fish Creek. The game will be broadcast on U 102.1 beginning at 7:15 p.m. with the pre-game show followed by the opening tip at 7:30 p.m. The game will also be streamed online at NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
