The Gibraltar girls basketball team could not keep pace with NEW Lutheran on Friday night, falling 58-45.

The Blazers only needed three players to score for them with Ebony Sinclair scoring 33 points as she registered 14 of the team's 22 made shots from the field. Ingrid Beaumont added 15 points and Lexie Meerstein chipped in 10 points.

Betsy Lecy drained three three-pointers en route to a team-high 14 points. Colleen Carlisle scored 11 points and Mikala Gorham registered nine points.

It does not get any easier for the Vikings as they head to Sevastopol on Saturday in Institute. The Pioneers have yet to drop a game in the Packerland Conference this season or any regular season game since December 20th. The Pioneers are coming off a weekend sweep of Owen-Withee and Mellen. Bailey Rikkola, Naomi Rikkola, and Kayla Ranly led the Pioneers in scoring in both games. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m.
