Storm girls shoot past Vikings

A close game early in the second half turned into a double-digit win for the Kewaunee Storm as they beat Gibraltar Monday night 56-34.

The Vikings were down 21-18 at the break and tied the game at 30 before the Storm rattled off 12 straight points on four three's to put the game out of reach. Head coach Devin Thomas credited the Storm with great shooting in the second half en route to a night where they would make nine shots from behind the arc.

The Storm was led by Jade Kroll, who made three from deep on her way to a 15 point night. Lexi Hanrahan and Brianna Demmin each added 11 points in the Storm victory. For the Vikings, Andie Schar led the way with 16 points while Colleen Carlisle added seven points and Mikala Gorham six points.
