Second-half sinks Vikings girls against Wolverines

The Crivitz Wolverines erupted for 26 second-half points as they went on to beat the Gibraltar Vikings' girls' basketball team 43-32.

 

The Wolverines entered the break with a 17-12 advantage thanks to nine first half points from Lucy Gruszynski. She would go on to score 17 points in the game with the Pusick sisters combining to score 14 points in the second half to help the Wolverines extend their halftime advantage.

 

The Vikings' Mikala Gorham was the only player to have success offensively in both halves, scoring a team-high 11 points along the way. Andie Schar, who had been averaging 20 points per game the last few games, was held scoreless in the first half and ended the contest with seven points. Colleen Carlisle ended the game with six points.
