Andie Schar cracked 20 points on the night, but the Gillett Tigers were able to still hold on against the Gibraltar Vikings girls' basketball team 34-33.

Schar tried willing her team to victory in the second half after the Vikings entered the frame tied at 18 apiece. She scored 12 of her 20 points in the second half but accounted all but one of the made shots from the field (6-7) as the Tigers' defense clawed back. Mikala Gorham scored four points and Colleen Carlisle added three points. 

The Tigers had their own offensive star going against Schar as Cilena Guns scored 23 of the team's 34 points in the victory. Cheyenne Krueger added five points to the Tigers' ledger.
