The visiting Menominee Maroons from Michigan expanded on a nine-point halftime lead and toppled the Gibraltar Vikings boys' basketball team Tuesday night 76-59.

The Theuerkauf family made the most of their four-hour roundtrip between Menominee and Fish Creek. Trevor scored a team-high 26 points while Tanner added 18 points. Connor Coduti contributed 21 points in the victory that had the Maroons up 39-30 at the half. 

Jake Schar had another strong game offensively, erupting for 25 points, while Will Friedenfels chipped in 13 points. Two others contributed at least five points to the loss.

The Vikings will play at Southern Door on Friday. The game will be carried live on U-102.1 beginning at 7:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the tip-off with Tim Kowols and Gary Barta at 7:30 p.m.
