Gibraltar boys welcome out-of-state foe

The Gibraltar boys basketball team will play at home but went out of state for their Tuesday night opponent when Menominee (MI) comes to Fish Creek.

In their last game on Saturday, Carl Burgess played long ball Saturday night as Gibraltar beat Sevastopol 74-49. Burgess drilled four three-pointers en route to a game-high 16 points. Braden Sitte added 12 points, while four others scored at least six.

The Maroons are 4-3 on the season, including 1-1 against Wisconsin foes. After winning their border battle against Marinette on December 30th, the Maroons dropped their game against Escanaba.

The tip-off is at a special time of 7 p.m.
