The Gibraltar girls' basketball team had one of their best offensive outputs of the season, but it was not enough in their 73-57 loss to Peshtigo.

 

The Bulldogs hit six three-pointers in the first half as they took a 43-23 lead into the break. The Vikings would return the favor in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 34-30 in the second half. 

 

For the Vikings, it was Andie Schar who had her breakout performance of the season with 21 points. Mikala Gorham added 12 points and Colleen Carlisle scored 10 points in the loss. 

 

The Bulldogs had four players reach double figures, including 20 points from Akira Smalls and 17 points from Brooklyn Phillips.

 

U-1021 will broadcast the Vikings' game next Thursday at Sevastopol with Tim Kowols on the call beginning at 7:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the tip at 7:30 p.m.
