The Gibraltar boys' basketball team now knows who they will be facing in the WIAA Division 5 Sectional semifinals on Thursday.

The team gathered together to watch Three Lakes beat Florence 59-49 in their regional final on Monday. The game was delayed from Saturday due to a storm that swept through the region that night. No other stats could be found, but it was a win in the rubber match for the Blue Jays who split their two matchups against the Bobcats this season. 

The Vikings have not faced the Blue Jays on the hardwood in the last five years, but some of the players could still have a score to settle after the two teams squared off on the football field. The Vikings lost that game 50-22 with the Blue Jays' second leading basketball scorer Ashton Maney (11 points per game) accumulating nearly 260 yards of total offense and two scores in the contest.

The basketball game will tip-off at 7 p.m. in Elcho where 105.1 The GOAT will carry the broadcast live over the air and at NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
