Gibraltar continues regional run at Goodman/Pembine on 105.1 The GOAT

The Gibraltar Vikings hope to advance to their third regional title game in five years when they visit Goodman/Pembine on Friday night in Division 5 tournament action.

The Vikings earned their spot in the semifinal by dismantling Suring 72-25 in Fish Creek on Tuesday. The first-round matchup saw Sam Lindenberg light it up with 26 points and the Vikings take a commanding 49-13 lead into intermission. Goodman/Pembine had a similar performance against visiting St. Thomas Aquinas with three players scoring in double figures including 20 points from Ryan Ehlert in a 65-24.

Gibraltar's Sam Lindenberg was a one-man wrecking crew in the team's 78-47 victory over Goodman-Pembine earlier this season. Lindenberg dropped a game-high 38 points on their hosts while Will Friedenfels added 13 points in the win. Boone Larison scored 12 points and Landon Kalkofen chipped in 10 points in the loss for Goodman-Pembine.

Bryan Mazur and Reece Robillard will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com from Goodman beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. tip.
