Gibraltar girls end regular season at Coleman

The Gibraltar girls basketball team gets one final tune-up Saturday afternoon when they face Coleman.

While they have not necessarily translated into wins, the Vikings have been playing better as of late. they have scored at least 30 points in five of their last seven games including over 50 points in a win over Sturgeon Bay and a close 41-36 defeat to Algoma on Thursday. Mikala Gorham has led the way in recent games scoring combined 40 points in the two games while Andie Schar and Chole Alexander have been complementary on either side of the court.

The Cougars are finishing off an impressive 17-5 campaign that has faced some recent bumps when they have gone up a division to face Shiocton and Peshtigo. Undefeated in their conference, the Cougars are led by Aubrey Bintz's 12.6 points per game and Desiree Nowak who averages approximately nine points and nine rebounds a game.

Tip is set for 12:15 p.m.
