Gibraltar girls host make-up game against Sevastopol

Gibraltar and Sevastopol will renew their cross-county rivalry in a make-up girls' basketball match-up from earlier this month in Fish Creek at 7:30 p.m.

The Vikings continue to look for their first win of the season after falling to NEW Lutheran 54-31. Andie Schar led the Vikings with 12 points and Betsy Lecy added six points in the loss. Despite the result, it was a great bounceback performance for the young team after its loss to Kewaunee earlier in the week.

The Pioneers are locked in their hardest part of the season as they have lost three of their last five games including four straight games of scoring less than 40 points despite averaging 48 points a game this season. Thanks to 19 points from Bailey Rikkola and 15 points from Libby Ash, they broke out of their offensive funk Friday night when they beat Southern Door 58-32 in Brussels.

Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
