The Gibraltar Vikings girls' basketball team had a slow start that sunk them in their 67-41 loss to Wabeno-Laona Friday night.

The Vikings could only muster 13 points in the first half, find themselves in a 20-point hole to start the second half against the Rebels. Andie Schar helped spark the offense in the second half, scoring 12 of her 14 points after the break. Betsy Lecy also broke into double figures with 10 points. The Krawze girls combined for 26 points while every player scored at least one point.
