The Gibraltar girls' basketball team looks to make the most of their long road trip west to face Wabeno-Laona.

The Vikings are still looking for their first victory of the season after losing their last match up to Algoma 48-27. Key to the slow start has been the offense, which is only averaging just over 31 points per game and no players scoring in the double figures. Wabeno/Laona is 8-3 on the season and won its last game 49-41 over Three Lakes. Ellie and Grace Krawze lead the team with approximately 10 points a piece per game.
