The Gibraltar girls' basketball team could not keep up with the Peshtigo Bulldogs in their 51-31 defeat Thursday night on the road.

The Vikings kept it close in the early going with the Bulldogs only leading 13-9 a little over halfway through the first half. The Bulldogs would take control from there, outscoring the Vikings 16-4 the rest of the frame to take a comfortable lead into the half. The Vikings would trail by as much as 23 points in the second half before paring it down to the 20 point deficit at the game's end. 

The team is back at it on Saturday when they travel to Algoma for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
