Gibraltar looks to break losing streak at Gillett on 105.1 The GOAT

The Gibraltar Vikings football team are looking to add to the W column for the first time since Week 1 when they visit Gillett on Friday night.

The Vikings have been able to take away some positives from their two game homestand, but came up empty in the win department as they saw their game against Wabeno-Laona slip away in the fourth quarter and its comeback in the final frame against Algoma fall short. Sam Lindenberg leads the MONLPC-8 East in passing with 591 yards while Braden Sitte has the second most yards receiving in the conference with 313 yards.

The Tigers have struggled to get things going this season, having to forfeit its game against White Lake/Elcho for medical reasons. It has not fared well in the games they were able to play, going 0-3 while being outscored 166-8. Gibraltar head coach Mike Peck says his team is expecting to see the Tigers' best as both teams can even up their conference records with a win on Friday.

Tim Kowols and Jacob Nate will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by kickoff at 7 p.m.
