Gibraltar, Sevastopol football meet in season finale on 105.1 The GOAT

A football season unlike any other will end in familiar fashion on Saturday afternoon when Gibraltar and Sevastopol meet in Institute.

Both teams have not fared well during the spring season as they are in search of their first win. The Pioneers lost their three games in close fashion, including last Friday's 36-20 loss to host Sturgeon Bay. Despite the lack of wins, the Pioneers' offense has been potent with Jack de Young leading the conference with over 750 yards passing and Spencer Evenson among the leaders in rushing and receiving.

The Vikings have suffered some lopsided losses but played better in its most recent defeat to NEW Lutheran 31-20. Their offense has also shown some potency despite their record with Luke Steebs in the top three for passing and rushing while Spencer Krause leads the way in the receiving category. Gibraltar head coach Mike Peck says it has been a unique week of practice leading up to facing their county rival.

Tim Kowols and Reece Robillard will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 12:30 p.m. followed by kickoff from Institute at 1 p.m.
