Gibraltar's offense stalls in loss on 105.1 The GOAT

The shots simply did not fall in Gibraltar's 57-48 loss to Manitowoc Lutheran Friday night.

The game went back and forth in the opening minutes of the game before the Lancers went on a mini-run towards the end of the half to hold a 27-18 edge at the break. The Vikings started to hit some shots midway through the second half to tie the game at 43. The Lancers would end the game on a 12-5 run with many of the points coming from the free throw line. 

 

Luke Steebs scored 11 of his team-high 17 points in the second half. Sam Lindenberg added 11 points while Alex Laughlin, Will Friedenfels, and Spencer Krause also got into the scorebook. The Lancers had four players reach double figures, led by Ethan Menges' 15 points and August Hecker's 13 points.

 

The Vikings finish the season 8-10, but was highlighted by their third straight season winning at least one playoff game.
