The Gibraltar boys' basketball team hopes to capture some of that spark they had last week when they host Sturgeon Bay in Fish Creek on Friday.

 

The Vikings have been playing without the conference's leading scorer in Sam Lindenberg, but Luke Steebs and Spencer Krause have more than made up for his absence. The pair each scored over 30 points in the team 94-69 victory over Sevastopol and combined for 39 points in their 71-65 loss to Southern Door on Tuesday. The Vikings could not nibble away at the six-point half time margin as they matched the Eagles point for point in the second stanza.

 

The Clippers are right behind the Vikings in the conference standings as they ride into Fish Creek on a three-game winning streak. Jack Schmelzer and Spencer Hubbard combine for 30 points in the Clippers 57-48 win over Algoma on Tuesday.
