The Gibraltar girls' basketball team hopes to be the first team to add a blemish to the perfect Packerland start for the Southern Door Eagles when the two teams clash Tuesday in Fish Creek.
The Vikings find themselves following a three-game winning streak with a three-game losing streak. The team lost in heartbreaking fashion on Friday night when they lost 47-46 to Sevastopol. Sage Krause leads the team in scoring with close to 16 points a game while Karlee Kita is close to a double-double averaging over nine points and seven rebounds a game.
The Eagles have won four straight Packerland Conference games to start the season, but lost to Brillion 76-41 their last time out on December 22nd despite 22 points from their leading scorer Nicole Norton.
