Vikings girls can't sustain offense against Bulldogs

The Gibraltar Vikings could not close its first-half deficit as it lost to Peshtigo for the second time this season, this time a 52-34 decision at home.

 

The Bulldogs took a 29-21 lead into the break before widening it in the second half by outscoring the Vikings 23-13. Sage Krause and Karlee Kita were the only two players to reach double figures for the Vikings. Krause made the team's only two three-pointers on the evening while Kita was able to be a great presence in the paint. The Bulldogs were able to hit nine three-pointers on the night including four from Jaci Tonn and a pair from two other players. Grace Wickman led all Bulldogs with 16 points. 

 

The Vikings next play on Friday at Sevastopol.
