The Gibraltar Vikings girls’ basketball team threw up a quality win over the Oconto Blue Devils on Friday night, 55-43. The Vikings improved to 3-1 in the Packerland Conference after this victory and saw another key performance from Sage Krause. Gibraltar pulled out to an early lead over the Blue Devils in the first half, 27-12. The Vikings found consistent play from their offensive unit on Friday night. Krause collected 17 points while Maggie Moroney tallied 15 points and was followed by Karlee Kita who scored 13 points. The Blue Devils were led by Lianna Baxter who outperformed everyone with 31 points total. Gibraltar will travel to Southern Door on December 29th for a 7:30pm tip-off.
