The Gibraltar Vikings boys’ basketball team notched a win over the NEW Lutheran Blazers on Thursday night, 64-55. The Vikings came into the matchup 1-1 on the season and improved to 2-1 after an impressive scoring performance. Gibraltar found themselves in a tight one after the first half concluded, 32-31 in their favor. Vikings head coach Justin Burress rallied his team for a nine point victory. The Vikings will visit the Algoma Wolves on Saturday for conference play at 7:30pm.
