Even before it was canceled, one of the state’s most prolific three-point shooters would not be in Green Bay for its annual contest. Gibraltar’s Sage Krause knocked down 74 three-point shots during the 2019-2020 season, which was good for seventh in the state across all divisions. Four of those came in the Vikings’ heartbreaking regional semi-final loss against Gillett last month. Following the game, Krause said the seniors were inspiring.

Before she returns to the hardwood, the Culver’s Student Athlete of the Week will head out to the diamond to play on the softball team this spring.
