The Kewaunee Storm girl's basketball team was going to play with a little extra intensity after its first loss of the season earlier this week and Gibraltar just happened to be the next team on the schedule.

The Vikings were able to keep the Storm somewhat under control in the first half before Kewaunee cruised to a 74-46 victory Thursday night. The Storm only had an eight-point advantage heading into halftime but outscored the Vikings 47-27 in the second half. It was one of the few times the Vikings were outgunned from behind the arc as well with the Storm holding a 9-7 advantage in three-point shots made. Abbi Sitte led the Vikings with 19 points and Sage Krause collected 12 of her 16 points from behind the arc. 

The loss drops the Vikings to 8-8 on the season with their next game coming up Saturday at Oconto.
