Gibraltar tops Oneida Nation ahead of St. Mary Springs matchup

The Gibraltar Vikings pulled away in the second half to beat Oneida Nation 69-57.

 

Up by only four points at the break, the Vikings outscored the Eagles 36-28 in the second half to secure their fourth win of the season. Three Vikings players scored in double figures for the Vikings, led by Luke Steebs with 14 points. The Vikings hit eight three-pointers in the game with Marcus Reinhardt drilling four of them.

 

There is no rest for the weary as the Vikings will hit the road Tuesday night to face St. Mary's Springs. The Vikings will have their hands full with Aidan Ottery, who leads St. Mary's Springs with almost 19 points and 9 rebounds a game. St. Mary's Springs has won three of their seven 2020 matchups, including a close 64-63 loss against Omro last week. Tip is set for 7:15 p.m.
