The Gibraltar Vikings cross country team stayed ahead of the weather with its Thursday cross country meet in Brillion.

 

The girls finished in sixth in the seven-team field, led by freshman Betsy Lecy, who ran a 22:22 to lead the Vikings. The boys' team did not have enough runners Thursday to score points, but that did not stop sophomore Anthony Casanas from having a nice day on the 5K course, running an 18:08.
