Long bus rides to big invitationals mean a lot of together time for area cross country teams. The teams will hit the road again Tuesday afternoon with five of the peninsula's seven teams in action. Gibraltar head cross country coach Joy Manweiler Bastian has seen her team grow not just in numbers since their first practice close to a month ago, but as runners in general.

Gibraltar will Join Algoma at the Sheboygan Lutheran Invitational for their slate of races beginning at 4:30 p.m. Luxemburg-Casco, Southern Door, and Kewaunee head to Wandering Springs Golf Course at 4 p.m. for the Denmark Invitational. Results from both races will be posted online at Wednesday at DoorKewauneeHighSchoolSports.com.
