Only about two minutes separated all four members of the Gibraltar boys cross country team during its Chief K Invitational on Thursday in Fish Creek.
Although two members short of being able to register points as a team, the entire four boy roster finished with times under 22 minutes in the 5k distance. Nico Salm finished fractions of a second ahead Anthony Casanas for a time of approximately 19:32.
The Gibraltar girls took 12th out of 16 scoring teams, led by Betsy Lecy running a 23:59 in her first high school race.
