Gibraltar pitcher Trevor Reinhardt showed why he was the Packerland Conference Player of the Year Tuesday as he threw a perfect game in the Vikings' 10-0 win over NEW Lutheran.
Reinhardt did his damage on the mound over six innings of work, striking out nine in the process.
The Vikings did their heavy lifting in the third inning scoring five runs thanks to singles by Luke Steebs, Andras Szakala, and Reinhardt. The inning was capitalized by a double by Griffin Reinhardt.
Steebs, Reinhardt, Alex Laughlin, and Szakala each racked up multiple hits for Vikings' 13 hit attack.
Crivitz spoiled a potential county battle for the regional championship by beating Sevastopol, so the Vikings will head northwest for a chance at a second straight sectional berth.
