Gibraltar will try to get revenge on Green Bay NEW Lutheran when the two teams play for the regional championship on Tuesday. The Blazers knocked off the Vikings twice during the regular season. NEW also beat Gibraltar in the playoffs in boys basketball ending the Vikings surprising playoff run after winning the regional championship.

Gibraltar advanced to this round when Gresham had to forfeit the first round matchup. NEW clubbed St. Thomas Aquinas/Lena 28-4. The game will be played in Green Bay.

Gibraltar didn't have as good of a regular season as the 2010 team that went undefeated in conference play but they can go further in the playoffs with a win over NEW. That Viking team was led by Tom Sawyer who hit a blistering .519 that season. Alex Larsen led the team with 4 home runs and he was the correct answer to Saturday's trivia question.
