After coming up short against Valley Christian a week ago, Algoma got back in the win column Friday night.

The Wolves defeated Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence 36-20 at Perry Park, improving to 4-1 on the season. Algoma used a strong offensive performance to pull away from NEW and earn its fourth win of the season.

The win comes one week after Algoma suffered its first loss of the season against Valley Christian. The Wolves responded with a 16-point victory over NEW, which falls to 3-2.

Algoma will have another test next week when it takes on Elkhart Lake. The Resorters enter the matchup with a 4-2 record.
