Five of Algoma's six runners ran their season-best times on the campus of UW-Green Bay on Thursday as a part of the James Boyd Invitational Cross Country Meet hosted by De Pere.
Brayden Brumm was a lone wolf for the boys, taking 101st with a season-best 24:42. For the girls, Ellie Reif ran the best time of her high school cross country career with a 23:27 that was good for a top 50 finish.
