Algoma baseball continues tourney play at Brillion

The Algoma baseball team looks to keep their season alive on Tuesday when it travels to Brillion to face the Lions.

The Wolves staved off elimination with a 3-2 win over Mishicot in their tournament opener. Braeden Leist and Dylan Seiler each had two hits in the victory with Leist's RBI double the difference in the game. Charlie Prokash dealt in his home season finale, allowing two runs (0 ER) on four hits while striking out 12 across 6.2 innings.

The Lions have been idle since they clipped Marinette 5-4 in their season finale. It put an end to a two-game losing streak. Before that stretch, it had been since April 2nd since the Lions came up empty, losing their season opener against Plano 4-3 and Marian Catholic 16-1.

First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
