The Algoma baseball team is on the road this Thursday, as they are taking on the Wrightstown Tigers.
The Wolves are fresh off a pair of victories over Southern Door. The first game got out of hand in a hurry. Algoma sent 15 batters to the plate in a massive 11-run third inning, with Dylan Seiler and Jonah Dahms each driving in three during the surge. Cal DeMeuse went 3-for-4 to lead the offense, and Charlie Prokash tossed three clean innings to earn the win. Algoma finished with 12 hits and seven stolen bases, coming out with an 18-5 win.
Game two was much closer. Jacob Massey was sharp for Algoma, going all seven innings and allowing just one unearned run on three hits while striking out six, pulling away to a 4-1 win.
The first pitch is at 4:30 p.m.
