Wolves baseball falls to Panthers

The Algoma baseball team's bats could not keep up with Reedsville's in a 14-4 drubbing on Monday.

The Wolves were down 9-0 before they were able to score two runs in the third and fourth innings. Walks and passed balls allowed the Panthers to score three times in the fourth before a fifth inning  run-scoring single ended the game due to the mercy rule.

Cal DeMeuse had three hits while Braeden Leist and Charlie Prokash all pounded out two hits in the loss. Leist, Prokash, and Jonah Dahms recorded RBI.

The Wolves are off until a Friday afternoon doubleheader against Sturgeon Bay.
