Macie Zimmerman put on a show Friday, leading the Algoma softball team to a 7-0 shutout win over Bonduel with two home runs, four RBIs, and 11 strikeouts over seven innings.

Zimmerman got things started with a solo shot to center in the first, then broke it open in the second with a two-run blast to left as part of a three-run inning. Amya Lukes added a run-scoring double in the second, and Ella Severinsen's double down the right field line plated two more in the third.

Algoma played a clean game defensively, committing no errors on the day improving to 6-3 on the year. 

The Wolves head to Kewaunee on Tuesday, 4:30 first pitch.
