Macie Zimmerman was outstanding in the circle Tuesday, but Algoma softball still came up short against Crivitz 2-1 in a tough loss.

Zimmerman struck out 13 over six innings, allowing just three hits and walking nobody, but Crivitz got all the runs they needed in the third when Taryn Tracy singled to score two. 

Algoma out-hit Crivitz four to three but couldn't push enough across, with Zimmerman driving in the Wolves' lone run in the sixth. 

Algoma hosts Sturgeon Bay on Thursday at 4:30.
