The Algoma girls basketball team hits the road Friday for the WIAA regional round, taking on the Coleman Cougars. The Cougars are the No. 4 seed and are coming off a 48-38 victory over Suring.

The Wolves are the No. 5 seed. In their last outing, they defeated Freedom 61-52. The Wolves have been led this season by Jadyn Nellis, who is averaging 12 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. She is joined by Sadie Rikkola, who has been averaging 9.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, two assists, and 1.9 steals per game.
