Wolves boys fall short again against Bulldogs

The Algoma Wolves boys basketball team got nipped by the Peshtigo Bulldogs for the second time this season, this time by 45-42 margin Thursday night.

 

The Bulldogs hit six three-pointers in the first half, including three off the fingertips of Levi Hodgins. Parker Lischka and Charlie Prokash each had six points in the first half, but the Wolves found themselves trailing 26-17 at the break. The Wolves' defense kept the Bulldogs in check in the second half, allowing just five made shots from the field. The Bulldogs were able to get to the finish line with the win however thanks to 7-10 free throw shooting.

 

Hodgins led all scorers with 18 points while Brady Polzin registered 13 points and Dominik Baxter chipped in 10 points for the Bulldogs. Lischka paced the Wolves with 14 points while Griffen Robinson added nine points and Prokash added six.
