The Algoma girls' basketball team will host the Sevastopol Pioneers on Friday. The Wolves sit in second place in the Packerland Conference with a 9-1 conference record, while the Pioneers are in fifth place at 3-6.
Sevastopol is coming off a 58-34 win over Sturgeon Bay. Sienna Cain and Sydney Peterson led the way, each scoring 19 points. Cain added nine rebounds, two assists, and five steals, while Peterson recorded two rebounds, three assists, six steals, and a block. Luna Ramirez chipped in nine points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Algoma is coming off a 52-46 victory over Peshtigo. Reagan Schnieder led the Wolves with 14 points, followed by Jaydn Nellis with 13 and Claire Gerdmann with 10.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
