January has brought nothing but tough games to the Algoma Wolves and Tuesday was no different. They traveled to face the Oconto Blue Devils who came into the game riding a three-game winning streak.
Algoma came in and controlled the offensive tempo from the jump, relying on Parker Lischka to lead the way with 13 of his game-high 22 points coming in the first half.
Oconto was unable to slow down the Algoma offense and the Wolves rolled on to a double-digit, 58-45 victory. Lischka was complemented by Griffen Robinson's 15 points and 10 points from Charlie Prokash. The Blue Devils were led by 12 points from Hayden Peterson and 10 points from Lars Saldana.
Algoma improved to 11 wins on the season and will now gear up for a home matchup with Peshtigo Thursday at 7 p.m.
