The Algoma girls basketball team jumped out to a 35-11 halftime lead and never looked back in its 57-27 win over Oconto on Thursday.
The Wolves were hot from behind the arc in the first half, hitting nine three pointers in the frame including four from Reagan Schneider and three from Sadie Rikkola. They worked inside the arc in the second half with Lauren Loucks scoring all nine of her points after halftime.
Schneider led all scorers with 17 points while Jadyn Nellis and Rikkola added 10 points apiece and Claire Gerdmann contributed another eight points. Natalie Schlueter led the Blue Devils with 10 points.
The Wolves hit the road again on Monday when they travel to Peshtigo for a 7 p.m. tip.
